Commissioned portraits
The portrait procedure begins with a discussion to agree upon the mood, the size, and background of the
portrait. The clothing, setting. Each painting is carefully thought out with careful insight about the
personality of the subject. At this time I will take or except numerous photographs and notes. Then I will
return to my studio to work on a small sketch or preliminary drawing of the portrait. These are presented
to the client for approval and or adjustments. Some live sittings may be requested or one final sitting may
be requested for any minor adjustments if possible. Upon completion, the portrait will be delivered with
insured satisfaction. If a setting is not possible I would like multiple Photo's.

Three Quarter Length (Including Hands) 24"x 30".................... $ 1500.00
More than one subject or complicated backgrounds can add to the price.
Price includes one photo shoot, if needed. (Does not include travel expenses, frame, or sales tax if applicable).
The above prices allow for the figure to be approximately life size or just under.
Pastels are painted on fine pastel art paper glued to acid free light weight foam Sturdy board, framed
behind glass in a simple frame for shipping.
Oil paintings, come on a stretched triple Gesso canvas finished with Amber varnish finish ( no frame )
made to last!
All my paintings are drawn and painted by hand.
I will work from a setting or a good photograph or set of photographs.
I can take the pictures if needed no extra charge for local customers, lighting is everything.
I like to see the subject but if thats not possible I prefer multiple photo's.
